class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A study published last July in the medical journal JAMA investigated the relationship between poor vision and cognition (the application and processing of information in the brain).<\/p><p>The study found a connection between decreased visual acuity, decreased contrast sensitivity, and impaired binocular vision, and between concentration, memory, and language ability.<\/p><p>The result provides further evidence of the important connection between vision, eye health, and brain health.<\/p><p>On a personal note and from experience, I can add how important it is to insist on performing cognitive activities and not give them up: reading, writing, watching television, attending lectures, and more in order to maintain these abilities and thus preserve cognitive abilities, and the connection with the environment and reality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
